So easy and delicious, you’ll feel like a kid again with these sweet, little treats

Ingredients

Reduced fat vanilla ice cream

480 g

Waffle cone

8 individual, (8 x 14g cones)

Almonds, sugar-coated

½ cup(s), (95g), (Vienna), coarsely chopped

Almonds, sugar-coated

2 tbs, (Vienna), extra (see tip)

Instructions

  1. Place ice-cream in a large bowl. Add almonds, stirring until well combined. Transfer to an airtight container, cover and place in freezer for 3–4 hours or until firm.
  2. Scoop ice-cream into waffle cones and serve sprinkled with extra almonds. Serve immediately.

Notes

TIP: Also known as French vanilla almonds, Vienna almonds are sugar coated. They are available from delicatessens and specialty nut stores. If you cannot find Vienna almonds, sub in regular almonds. You can use plain cones instead of waffle cones or serve in bowls.
