Grilled sausages with mini rosti
Rosti is the Swiss German version of the hash brown. Traditionally a breakfast dish, now a popular side dish. We've made our version healthier with carrot and thyme.
Extra lean beef sausage
180 g, Italian style (4 x 45g each)
1 medium, peeled, grated
1 medium, grated
1 x 3 second spray(s)
- Heat an oil-sprayed medium non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Cook sausages for 8–10 minutes or until browned all over and cooked through. Transfer to a plate. Cover to keep warm.
- Meanwhile, combine potato, carrot and thyme in a small bowl. Place a heaped tablespoon of mixture in pan. Flatten slightly with a spatula to 7cm round. Repeat to make 7 more. Cook for 2–3 minutes each side or until golden. Serve with sausages and rosti.
Serve with rocket leaves and a dollop of wholegrain mustard.
