Cinnamon, plum and vanilla yogurt compote

Now you can stay satisfied any time of the day with this easy dessert made with NESTLE DIET Yoghurt.

Ingredients

Caster sugar

¼ cup(s), (55g)

Orange(s)

1 medium

Ground cinnamon

½ tsp

Plum(s)

8 large, stone removed, quatered

Vanilla yoghurt, 99% fat-free, no added sugar

400 g

Walnuts

¼ cup(s), coarsely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, add sugar and ½ cup water. Cook over low heat for 2 minutes or until sugar dissolves.
  2. Grate 1 teaspoon orange zest. Remove skin and pith and cut into segments. Add zest, cinnamon and plums to pan. Bring to boil, reduce to low, and cook, covered, for 2-3 minutes. Allow to cool.
  3. Spoon compote into tumblers. Serve topped with NESTLÉ DIET Vanilla Yoghurt, orange segments and walnuts.
