Chocolate risotto with banana

Risotto for dessert? You heard correctly! Creamy, chocolatey and very satisfying. A great treat the whole family will enjoy.


Ingredients
Arborio rice
½ cup(s), (100g)
Reduced-fat milk
4 cup(s), (1L)
Caster sugar
2 tbs
Cocoa powder
2 tbs, sifted
Cinnamon quill
1 whole
Banana(s)
2 large, sliced
Ground cinnamon
2 g, (pinch)
Instructions

Place rice, milk, sugar, cocoa and cinnamon stick in a 4.5 litre (18-cup) slow cooker. Stir to combine. Cook, covered, on high for 30 minutes.

Whisk rice mixture until combined and cocoa has dissolved. Cook, covered, on high, stirring every 30 minutes, for 2 hours 30 minutes or until rice is tender.

Remove cinnamon stick. Serve risotto topped with banana and sprinkled with ground cinnamon.
