Ingredients
Brown rice, dry
1 cup(s), (200g)
Green shallot(s)
3 individual, thinly sliced
Fresh ginger
1 tbs, finely grated
Garlic
2 clove(s), crushed
Extra lean beef mince, raw
250 g
Chinese five spice
1 tsp
Vegetable mix, non-starchy, frozen
300 g
Soy sauce
3 tsp
Hoisin sauce
2 tsp
Chilli sauce
2 tsp
Oil spray
1 x 3 second spray(s)

Cook rice in a large saucepan of salted boiling water following packet instructions. Drain.

Meanwhile, lightly spray a large non-stick frying pan with oil and heat over high heat. Cook shallots, ginger and garlic, stirring, for 1 minute or until softened. Add mince and cook, stirring to break up lumps, for 3 minutes or until browned.

Add five-spice powder and cook, stirring, for 20 seconds or until fragrant. Add vegetables and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add rice and stir to combine. Add soy sauce, hoisin and chilli sauce and stir-fry for 1 minute. Serve.
