Anna's pear and walnut slice

1 cup(s), finely chopped
almond milk unsweetened
1 cup(s), (250ml)
vanilla bean extract, alcohol free
canned pears in natural juice, drained
1 can(s), 410g can, (1 x 410g can) roughly chopped
⅓ cup(s), roughly chopped
white self-raising flour
1 cup(s), (150g)
- Preheat oven to 160℃. Line a 27cm x 17.5cm baking tray with paper. Add all bran, almond milk, pears, dates, maple syrup, egg, cinnamon, two thirds of the walnuts and a pinch of salt to a large mixing bowl, stir to combine. Set aside and let soak for 30 minutes.
- Gently fold through half of the flour, then fold through the remaining flour to combine. Pour mixture into prepared tin and sprinkle remaining walnuts over the top. Bake 30 minutes.
