Ingredients

Plain flour

2 cup(s), (300g)

Dry yeast

7 g

Caster sugar

1 tsp

Salt

1 tsp

Tomato passata

½ cup(s)

Deli-sliced leg ham

100 g, (double smoked)

Mushrooms

100 g, (button), thinly sliced

Bocconcini

150 g, (baby), chopped

Fresh basil

2 tbs, (baby)

Oil spray

1 x 3 second spray(s)

Instructions

  1. Sift the flour into a large bowl. Add the yeast, sugar and salt and stir to combine. Add ¾ cup (180ml) warm water and mix with a wooden spoon to form a soft dough. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes or until smooth and elastic. Place in a lightly greased large bowl. Cover and set aside in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size
  2. Preheat the oven to 240°C. Place 2 large baking trays in the oven.
  3. Punch down the centre of dough. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 20 – 30 seconds or until smooth. Divide the dough in half. Roll out each piece of dough on a lightly floured surface to form a 25cm round. Place the pizza bases on preheated trays. Spread with the passata. Top with the ham, mushroom and bocconcini. Bake for 15 – 20 minutes or until the bases are golden and crisp. Serve sprinkled with the basil.

Notes

SERVING SUGGESTION: Mixed salad leaves.TIP: To save time use 2 x 75g wholemeal Lebanese bread instead of making your own pizza dough. Reduce the cooking time to 15 minutes.
