I am having trouble logging in

Make sure that you are using the correct user name and password combination and double check that there are no spaces before or after your user name and password in the entry fields.

If you are entering the correct combination of user name and password, but still cannot access the site, clear your cookies. It's possible that your "cookies" (the very tiny files that allow our site to recognize you) have become corrupted on your computer.

To delete your cookies:

Internet Explorer 7
  1. From the tool bar, click on Tools.
  2. At the bottom of the menu, click on Internet Options.
  3. In Browsing History, click Settings.
  4. In new window, click View Files button.
  5. Click the Name column to sort file types, then scroll down and look for the cookies.
  6. Right-click and select Delete on any cookies with "weightwatchers" in the file name and confirm each deletion.
  7. Close the files window, then OK twice to exit out of Internet Options.
Internet Explorer 8
  1. From the tool bar, click on Tools.
  2. At the bottom of the menu, click on Internet Options.
  3. In the General tab under Browsing history click the Delete... button.
  4. On the Delete Browsing History screen, check Cookies, then click the Delete button.
  5. Click OK to exit out of Internet Options.
Safari
  1. From the Safari menu click Preferences
  2. Click Security Tab
  3. Click Show Cookies button
  4. Select any files with weightwatchers.com in the name and click the Remove button
  5. To delete all cookies just click the Remove All button.
Firefox
  1. Go to Tools and then Options
  2. Click the Privacy icon and then the Cookies tab
  3. Click Clear Cookies Now button
Chrome
  1. Click on the wrench icon, then select Options.
  2. In the Under the Hood tab click the Clear browsing data... button.
  3. I the popup window, please be sure that Delete cookies and other site data is checked and the dropdown menu is set to Everything.
  4. Click the Clear browsing data button.
  5. Click the Close button, then click Close again.
Then type http://www.weightwatchers.com/index.aspx into your browser - DO NOT USE A BOOK MARK! The site will drop a new cookie on your computer and should allow you to use the site correctly.

It's possible that the date is not right on your computer, which could cause problems with logging in.

If you suspect that the date on your PC is incorrect, you can double-click on the taskbar on the lower right hand side by the time stamp. You can then change the year when the date window comes up. Click the apply button to make sure the change is made.

Mac users:
Click the Apple menu and select Control Panels, then Date & Time. To set your time on a Mac with OS X Click on the clock (displayed in the upper right hand corner of your screen) and then click Open Date and Time from the menu that is displayed.
