Jackie O joined WW in May 2021 lost 10 kg over 3 months. She loved her increased energy and confidence levels. However, over the New Year period, Jackie O had a setback on her weight loss journey like so many people do. With refreshed motivation and new goals to get ready for her summer Fiji holiday with her daughter, she’s back on track and has lost 12 kg.

How’s your WeightWatchers Journey going?


When I started the program I found it easy to lose the initial 10 kg. As the weight started to come off, I saw the difference in my energy levels and confidence, which motivated me even more.

However, I made it no secret that I fell off the bandwagon over the New Year period. I started going backwards after achieving my initial weight loss goal, but I just knew it wasn’t the end of my journey.

There’s no shame in saying to yourself, ok you made a few mistakes and it’s time to reset.

I’m so glad to be part of WeightWatchers because it’s for real people who go through those ups and downs – we’re not perfect.

Why does the WW program work for you?


WeightWatchers is such a modern and relaxed program which is personalised. It’s more about creating a healthy lifestyle and those small habits with big impact, rather than starving myself on a diet.

Once I got back on track with the WW program again, like clockwork I lost 12 kilos!

It works for me because I still get to eat the foods I love whilst combining ZeroPoint meals to make sure I never go over my Budget.

I love green vegetables so I’ve been loading up on meals that contain a lot of goodness whilst still being able to enjoy a wine or two at night.

Jackie O’s weight loss tips:


1. I make sure I have a decent breakfast, like eggs, and I walk on the treadmill or with a friend at a park straight after work – that really amps up my energy to get through the rest of the day after a very early start! I used to crash after work but am finding little changes like those can have a big impact.


2. Your mindset is connected to the way you look after your body. When you eat well, you have more energy to exercise or get out and spend time with family and friends - which then makes you feel even better.


3. Just start! Not tomorrow, not on Monday, but now. That’s the hardest part. It’s important to remember that it’s ok to slip up every now and then – no one is perfect and you can pick yourself up and get back on track from there! You deserve to feel your best.

Everything is on the menu
