This no-cook side dish will fast become a summer staple. Bring it to a picnic or serve at your next barbecue.
 

Ingredients

1 cup(s) green snap beans, fresh, chopped into bite-sized pieces   
1/2 cup(s) canned lima beans, rinsed and drained   
1/2 cup(s) canned chickpeas, rinsed and drained   
1 cup(s) green peas, fresh or frozen and thawed   
1/2 medium red onion(s), minced   
1/4 cup(s) balsamic vinegar   
1/2 tsp olive oil   
1/2 tsp dry mustard   
1/2 tsp dried oregano   
1/2 tsp dried basil   
1/4 tsp table salt   

Instructions

  • Mix beans, peas and onion together in a medium bowl.

  • Combine remaining ingredients together in a cup and toss with bean mixture. Cover and marinate in refrigerator for at least 4 hours or up to overnight. Yields about 3/4 heaping cup per serving.
