This cake comes out dense and spongy. I really liked it. I put a very thin layer of frosting made with a tbsp of butter 1/4 cup of fat free sour cream and 1/2 cup of Splenda. My family loved it.
The flavor is good on this, but I find the cake a bit rubbery. I used the fat free yogurt as suggested and thinking perhaps the sour cream bakes a little differently?
I also added 1/4 teaspoon of clove. Could have added more as well.
Just mixed this all up and put in the oven - seems easy enough! Smells delicious!!
