I made this earlier in the week, it was easy and tasted great! Even my hubby gave them the thumbs up. I substituted splenda brown sugar blend for the brown sugar. Like others suggested, I also made them into cupcakes for easier portioning. Will definitely be make these again!

Yum, yum, yum! My family added cool whip on top, but it was good without. The oil I used was sunflower, so it had "healthy oil." I'm wondering how it would be with chunks of apples in it. Think I'll try that next. Ate it warm and wow.
This is a simple and delicious recipe! I substituted plain canned pumpkin for the applesauce and added an extra 1/2 tsp of cinnamon plus 1/2 tsp of ground ginger and 1/4 tsp of ground cloves. So good! Like others recommended, I baked 16 cupcakes to make the portioning easier -- took 20 minutes to bake. This is a keeper, especially with the holidays coming!
