I am not sure what happened, but my pie didn't turn out like the picture. It was kind of runny and never completely set, even after following the directions. I tried making it twice, but the result was basically the same both times.
I used french vanilla pudding, almond milk, frozen peaches (no sugar added), and blended along with the banana in my ninja blender. Skipped the nutmeg on top. It worked out great. Placed pie in freezer to speed up setting. Tasted amazing!
I too, found this recipe to be runny. My husband loved the flavor and I just put it in the freezer until it hardened and then served it before it could thaw.
Very runny, but had an excellent flavor. I think I may cut back on the milk and see if it makes the pudding any thicker.
