This is delicious and spicy, I cut down the Jerk seasoning to 2 Tbsp. Also, cooked on low for 6-7 hours, the sweet potatoes were too hard after 5 hours. Last time I cut the chicken into pieces, which I should've done this time.
very good; and very spicy. made as directed, with only cutting chicken into smaller chunks as another reviewer suggested. would serve with tomato or cucumber salad to tone down the heat.
I liked this recipe-thought it was very flavorful, and while I'm no expert it did remind me of food that I ate in the Caribbean. However, it was so spicy that they other members of my family were not able to eat it. It made me wonder if I had added too much accidentally, but when I looked at the recipe again I'm pretty sure I followed the directions to a T. So definitely not a recipe for those who can't handle spice.
This was delicious! A little spicy, but not too much. I served it with a big green salad and a yogurt mint dressing. My boyfriend loved it too. I think it would go well with a side of rice or black beans. It was really simple to assemble as well. I love being able to throw something in a crockpot and go about my day.
