This was a very earthy roasted tasty soup. As I did not have fresh sage, I used grounded sage. I would you less the next time I make it. I served with a TBS of fat free sour cream and some chives on top. Sure warmed me up on a bitter cold day.
I made this recipe in my cuisinart soup maker. It was done in under 15 minutes. It was delicious. Spicy and roast garlic undertones. I will definitely make this again. Also, I used 1 large can pumpkin in lieu of cooking the pumpkin. I rate this soup Yummy!
This was very good. I added about 1t of fresh ginger to give it a bite. I also added a cup of milk to make it creamier. When I served it, I swirled a tablespoon of plain yogurt in it.
I was looking for the perfect pumpkin soup recipe and now that I made this one and tasted it, I can stop looking. It's just the way I like it, simple and very tasty. Yum.
