Ingredients

1 pound(s) Jennie-O Turkey Store Ground turkey   
  1 cup(s) (sliced) uncooked red onion(s)   
  3 oz canned diced tomatoes   
  2 medium uncooked zucchini, cut into chunks   
  2 cup(s) fresh tomato(es), cut into chunks   
  2 medium yellow summer squash, cut into chunks   
  1 oz canned black beans, drained, rinse optional (to reduce sodium)   
  1 oz fat-free reduced sodium chicken broth   
  10 rib(s) (large) uncooked celery, cut in chunks   
  2 item(s) (medium) uncooked bell pepper(s), green bell peppers, cut in chunks   
1 clove(s) (medium) garlic clove(s)   
3 Tbsp French's Chili-O Mix   
1 tsp olive oil, put into skillet and heat. throw in onions and gar   
1 tsp black pepper, for taste   

Instructions

  • 1. Place olive oil into large nonstick skillet with nonstick spray and set over medium-high heat. Add the turkey and onion. Saute until browned. 2. Transfer browned turkey and onion miture to a large soup pot and add tomatoes, zucchini, squash, beans, broth, celery, and bell peppers. 3. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. 4. Add chili seasoning. 5. Stir often and keep covered. Continue to simmer until vegetables are tender OR simmer even longer--the longer, the more reduced and "chili" like it will be.

Are you sure that the recipe only calls for 1oz of canned black beans and 1 oz of chicken broth? I usually use a 15 oz size can of black beans and around 28 oz chicken broth.
