Ingredients

1 pound(s) uncooked ground turkey breast
1 tsp black pepper, Add to taste.
1 small uncooked, onion(s), Finely chopped
1 clove(s) (medium) garlic clove(s), Minced
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp dried oregano
  8 oz canned tomato sauce
1/3 cup(s) Kraft 2% Milk Reduced Fat Natural Shredded Cheese Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese
8 item(s) Mission® Low carb soft taco sized flour tortillas, Warm in microwave before filling.
2 spray(s) olive oil cooking spray, Spray foil lined cookie sheet & top of shells
1/2 tsp ground cumin, TIP Cheaper to buy this spice in the bags
2 Tbsp Ortega Diced Green Chiles, Mild Green chiles; we use the whole can!

Instructions

  • Spray nonstick baking sheet covered in foil with cooking spray; set aside. Spray a nonstick skillet with cooking spray, set over medium-high heat. Add turkey, onion, garlic, pepper, chili powder, oregano, & cumin. Preheat oven to 400 degrees when turkey is nearly done. Cook, breaking up turkey until browned (about 6 minutes). Stir in tomoato sauce & green chillies. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat & simmer uncovered about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese. Spoon about 1/2 cup of the mixture into the center of each warmed tortilla, then roll. Place them seam side down on the baking sheet. Lightly spray tops with cooking spray. Bake 20 minutes until crispy at 400 degrees. Do not turn. Get creative... many other variations (add jalepeno peppers, Mexican tomato sauce, etc.) ENJOY! ONE SERVING = one chimichanga for 5 points. They're small so save points for two for 10 points!

These are so delicious and one of my favorite recipes. They are also boyfriend approved. They help to satisfy that crunchy-fried craving but have no extra oil or fat added to them.
