this is delicious - good enough for a dessert, even. I think it could be slimmed a little more by reducing the brown sugar, but overall, it is great!
I really enjoy this! I added some cinnamon. I made a full recipe on Sunday and put it in tupperware in the refridgerator and have eaten it every day this week. And I will make it again.
Wasn't sure what to expect with this recipe even with all the positive reviews. It was definitely better the next day. Fixed a batch to have for breakfast daily. I used coconut oil instead of butter and added apple pie spice in addition to a touch of clove with the cinnamon. Also added a few dried cranberries. Overall very good -
I really enjoyed this. I found that the recipe as is isn't filling enough. Just 1 or 2 tablespoons of slivered almonds added enough fat and protein to fix that without adding TOO many extra points. All in all, a good recipe (and a good way to use up apples that are past their prime!)
