I made this oatmeal for the first time Sunday night. I used old fashioned oats instead of steel cut and substituted dried cranberries for raisins. I cooked the ingredients for 6 hours on low then 6 hours on warming. When I tasted the oatmeal Monday morning it was a little mushy and bland. I would make it again using steel cut oats and cook it for 4 hours rather than 6. I also added more cinnimon to each serving. Overall it is a good recipe.
