I was looking for something to eat in my pantry and found some food that I could throw together using this recipe. I didn't have steel oats so I used regular oatmeal. I had dried cranberries infused with applesauce. I used cinnamon that I mixed with a little sugar and I had whole raw almonds. I left out the maple syrup and salt. I thought it was pretty good for a throw together. I would of never thought of it if I hadn't seen this recipe and decided to see what I could come up with.
