I cooked it for 8 hours on low, talk about mushy rice :) It was the consistency of tapicoca and made it more of thick stew but it was still yummy. II'll cook the rice seperately next time like other reviewers suggested. I used turkey Kielbasa instead of sausage because my kids are big fans, and added a teaspoon of creole powder. I only used 4 cups of broth because that's all that will fit in my crock pot. Even with the mushy rice this seemed plenty moist to me. Definitely will make again.
