Try exchanging cheddar for soft Goat cheese (1 oz regular = 2pts, 2 oz low fat = 2pts). I'm not sure if that's enough, but goat cheese is great in cheese grits.
Very good! I grew up on ooey-gooey grits, and did not miss the butter with this at all! Way healthier and just as delicious!
This was good. A nice hot bowl of creamy comfort. I always just made my grits with just water but the milk adds more of a smooth texture. I used ff milk instead of evaporate. And added a pinch of granulated garlic. I didn't add black pepper. I don't like to see the specks in my grits.
