I really like this muffin. I do not like raisins so for an equal point swap I substitued a half cup of chopped walnuts. Really love the crunch of the walnuts. In my oven I did not need 15 minutes before they were done!
I make these into mini muffins and have first thing with a little coffee (for 2ppv). Then I still have room for a yogurt or egg as I'm heading out the door, as a protein to help carry me through the morning. They freeze very well.
These muffins are absolutely WONDERful...and filling. They freeze well, and reheat well in an oven.
I actually like these better the next day. These are very tasty! I wish they were less in the points department because two muffins are actually 9 points. But worth it if you can manage to adjust your points the rest of the day.
