A very filling meal with a tasty flavor blend. I peeled and quartered the golden beets. I placed the beets in a pot of warm water and brought it to a boil. I turned off the heat and let them sit for a half hour. I used tongs to take them out of the water and then refrigerated them for a few hours. Perfect results. I then sliced the beets thinly. Beets are my least-favorite vegetable, but these were great and almost like potato. My teen and husband loved it too. I'll be making this often.
