I doubled the recipe and instead of ground turkey, I cubed and browned boneless/skinless chicken breasts. I also soaked Bob's Red Mill Cannellini beans overnight, drained them off, added the reduced sodium chicken broth, remaining ingredients and then turned on the slow cooker. The cannellini beans cooked relatively quickly. I also added kale and the cilantro near the end which also cooked quite quickly. The kitchen smells wonderful (garlic, onions, spices, lime!) and I think it's very good.
