I made a test run cake of this recipe to see if it will be coming to Thanksgiving dinner, and I have to say WOW!!!! This came out amazing. Everyone who tried it loved it. Needless to say, it will absolutely star in Thanksgiving this year! I did make some modifications. I used spice cake as suggested in other reviews and mixed half of it with the other ingredients. I used Splenda in place of sugar and 1 egg instead of the substitute. I also used half pecans, half walnuts.
