This was okay. Only a little of the honey/mango nectar stayed in the grapefruit so I got little hints of it here and there. I think having the grapefruit warm was nice. I feel like maybe I should squeeze some of the juice out next time before glazing.
I don't care too much for grapefruit but decided to try this. It was just okay. The glaze overflowed and most ended up in the pan even the grapefruit was sitting nicely in the pan. I did not like the sourness thought the honey/mango nectar would have off set the sourness.
Love this recipe - served these as an elegant dessert at an intimate dinner party - I topped mine with a couple of large blackberries - yum!
For not being a big grapefruit fan this was a nice way to eat it. There was a lot of the sauce, I was only able to use about half of it because it simply would not fit onto grapefruit. Good side dish for breakfast.
