I was surprised at how good this recipe is. I had never eaten quinoa before but I knew fried apples were yummy. The quinoa taste is different but it goes well with the apples and the recipe in general is really easy to make. I cut up a banana in it too to increase volume but also get another fruit serving in.
This recipie is terrific. It's filling, yummy comfort food at it's best. Don't waste points on the nuts, it's perfectly crunchy and satisfying as is.
Love, love, love this recipe! I did add peaches and figs because I had them on hand. I may try different fruits each time!
Not a good recipe for someone on Weight Watchers. Too many points, not at all satisfying. Left me hungry for the rest of the day.
