Delicious & very easy to make. If you find it too thick , just add some water for liquid. I will definitely add this to my recipe collection & pass it on. I am just starting to cook by using the weight watchers recipes & enjoyed everything so far.
I am a meat eater, but I have to say this was really good. I did add some 2% cheddar to my bowl & it was even better. My husband enjoyed it too. I'll make this one again.
I enjoyed this very much. My canned tomatoes were regular with no salt added. I did not add any chiles to make up for using regular tomatoes Plenty spicy the way I made it. Not sure I would have liked it with chiles added. May have made it too spicy. Very filling.
I sauteed the veggies, then added it, the spices and tomato to the lentils and simmered. I also omitted the chili powder and added three chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce.
