Excellent! I'm from Texas and love Chicken Fried Steak, so of course, I thought this would be awful! But, quite the contrary! I used tenderized sirloin tip steak, panko instead of bread crumbs, and I did not use onion or bacon in the gravy, only a little chicken base. It was tender, crispy, flavorful and my husband loved it! Who would have thought? Thanks for the great recipe!
