After reading several pages of reviews, I modified this recipe somewhat . I made half the recipe. I added Cocoa powder to the melted chocolate for a richer chocolate taste; used less sugar (for 1/2 recipe, used 1/2 cup); and added about 3 oz unsweetened applesauce for more moistness. The brownies were very moist (do not overbake, err on the side of less). It has a cake like texture, so I think next time I would not beat eggs and sugar until fluffy.
