You slice up whatever it is you're working with and seamlessly slide into one of the measuring cups. Green handles are removable (for easier storage) and each measuring cup is also removable for ease of use and clean-up. highly recommended

The ability to push what ypu are cutting directly into a bowl or one of the measuring cups along with the lipped edge stopping jucies frome spreading cuts down on mess andsaves time. Unfortunately, it broke when I was trying to cut a thick corn on the cob in half with a dull knife. I have missed it so much and have been eagerly awaiting the day it would be sold on its own. I am buying my replacement now and recommend it to everyone whether you do a lot of chopping or just a little. I know some folks don't like plastic cutting boards but I just place a smaller cutting pad on top of it to cut meat and fish. This keeps away any worries about cross contamination at bay. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I will enjoy mine. Just watch out for dull knives and Corn on the Cob! Susan
