These incredibly easy yet delicious turnovers can be in made in less than 15 minutes and requires just 7 ingredients. All you need for the dough is self-rising flour and Greek yogurt—that's it! The filling features thinly sliced apples that are flavored with cinnamon, monkfruit sweetener, and a touch of salt. Feel free to use peaches or pears instead of the apples if you want to experiment. Simply enclose the filling in the two-ingredient dough, brush with egg wash, and air fry the turnovers (or you can use a convention oven) until they're nice and crispy and beautifully golden brown. It really doesn't get much easier than that.

Ingredients

White self-rising flour

¼ cup(s)

Plain fat free Greek yogurt

¼ cup(s)

Apple

1 medium, peeled, thinly sliced

Monk fruit sweetener with erythritol

1 Tbsp

Ground cinnamon

1 tsp

Table salt

1 pinch(es)

Egg

1 medium egg(s), whisked

Instructions

  1. Make two-ingredient dough by combining flour with yogurt. Knead, roll out and shape dough into a rectangle on a floured cutting board.
  2. To make the filling, sprinkle apple with sweetener, cinnamon and salt; toss to coat.
  3. Top the dough with the filling and mold into turnover shape; press down to seal edges. Cut a few slits on top and brush with egg wash before baking.

  5. Makes 1 turnover.
