Spicy Garlic Shrimp

Seafood is a common ingredient in traditional Spanish tapas. Serve this quick and simple shrimp dish hot or at room temperature.
olive oil1 Tbsp
garlic clove(s)4 clove(s), medium, minced
uncooked shrimp1 pound(s), 24 large, peeled and deveined
dried oregano¾ tsp
crushed red pepper flakes⅛ tsp, or to taste
- Heat a very large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Swirl in the oil, then add the garlic. Sauté until softened, about 1 minute. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp, oregano, and crushed pepper; sauté, stirring constantly, until the shrimp are just opaque, about 2 minutes. Yields 3 shrimp per serving.
