A decadent, crusty-and-sweet hand pie seems like a forbidden indulgence that requires a heavy lift. Fortunately, it's neither. Fresh berries, prepared packaged flatbread and an egg wash are all you need to create what tastes like grandma used to make. The cornstarch helps thicken the berry juices so that the crust doesn't get soggy, while the egg wash serves as the glue to keep the flatbread-pastry sealed. The best things are meant for sharing and this hand-pie is no exception. Let it cool slightly before slicing in half to share with someone you love.

  3. Spoon fruit mixture in center of flatbread; fold in half. Brush egg wash onto flatbread edges. Press down firmly with fingertips to seal.
