Where do I get on and off the ship in Barcelona?
Port of Barcelona (Port de Barcelona) is where you will board the MSC Seaview. You may come by taxi, ride-share, or drive and park. The ship will most likely be docked in Terminal A (Muelle Adosado/Moll Adossat). This terminal designation is subject to change, so we urge you to follow the electronic signage provided at the port entrance.
Which airport should I fly into?
Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN), also known as El Prat Airport, is the closest airport to the Port of Barcelona.
I’m booking a flight, what time should I arrive?
If you plan on flying-in the day of embarkation, MSC recommends allowing an additional 60-90 minutes for customs. You must board the ship by 4:00 pm for the 6:00 pm departure. You can also follow the check-in time and information listed on your eDocs.
How do I get from the airport to the port?
Barcelona–El Prat Airport is a 9-mile (15 km) 20-25 minute drive from the port. Taxi is the recommended form of transportation from the airport to the port at around 39 euros. While MSC does not offer transfers from the airport to the port, taxis can be easily found outside the terminals.
Due to new regulations, Uber and other ride-hailing services are no longer servicing Barcelona.
There is no direct bus connection between this airport and the port, but you could take the Aerobus to Plaça Espanya and then travel to the port by Portbus or by taxi. The Aerobus costs 5.90 euros.
