“Can pregnant people join WW?”

WW’s program is not designed for pregnant members, and WW does not allow pregnant people to join. If you’re already a member and become pregnant, it’s recommended that you cancel your WW membership. WW will be here for you following your pregnancy—when you and your healthcare provider agree that you’re ready to rejoin. We'd be thrilled to help you build healthy habits for yourself and your family.

If you already have a WW membership and you and your healthcare provider decide that it’s suitable for you to keep your WW membership while pregnant, you can do so provided that you do not follow WW’s weight-management program, are monitored by your healthcare provider, and follow only your healthcare provider's advice advice regarding weight, nutrition, activity, mindset, and sleep.

“How will my Points Budget be adjusted if I'm breastfeeding?”

The WW program is suitable for nursing moms who feel ready to begin their journey. A healthy rate of weight loss during nursing is an average of no more than 4.5 lb per month/2 kg per month. Losing more than this could affect milk quality or quantity. The Daily Points Budget depends on you and your breastfeeding status and will be adapted automatically in your app once you have adjusted your settings.
