Family dinners are the bomb, right? They make your kid feel loved and listened to, and offer up a seemingly magical array of benefits. But if you and your partner can’t both make it home for dinner every night, that’s perfectly OK. PHEW.
In my entire life, I’ve only been in a relationship with one man who could scoop me up off the floor and make me feel small. One. Not my husband. And even after 13 years of marriage, I still find that strange. Why do so many of us believe we should look petite next to our partners? This article made me realize how silly that is. Both of my parents have type 2 diabetes, so I’m pretty vigilant about making sure I’m not following in their footsteps. If you’re prediabetic, you don’t need to lose much weight to lower your risk.
If you’re over 40, I bet you’ll enjoy this video as much as I did: The New York Liberty of the WNBA have a dance squad made up of only women and men who’ve passed that milestone.
