Beef and Vegetable Stir-Fry


  • 1/8 tsp minced garlic (or to taste)
  • 1/8 tsp ginger root (minced, to taste)
  • 1 tsp peanut oil
  • 4 oz uncooked lean flank steak (sliced)
  • 1 oz fresh shiitake mushroom (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup(s) uncooked pea pods (snow, sugar snap)
  • 1/2 cup(s) shredded carrot(s)
  • 1/4 cup(s) canned water chestnut(s) (sliced)
  • 1 Tbsp asian stir-fry sauce
  • 10 item(s) peanuts (chopped)

Heat garlic and ginger in oil until fragrant; add steak, vegetables and water chestnuts. Stir-fry until beef is cooked through and vegetables are tender; stir in sauce and sprinkle with peanuts.
