I’ve been overweight since I was young,
but after the birth of my daughter Summer, now two, I decided to get healthy. I weighed more than 23st at the time, and soon found that going it alone was hard. I managed to lose just under 3st, but without support, I knew it wouldn’t last. Then I became pregnant with my second child, Poppy, so my weight-loss journey was put on hold.
Being overweight and pregnant
was uncomfortable, and I wanted to get fit so I could set a good example to my children – I didn’t want them to grow up struggling with their weight like I had. So, after my six-week postnatal check, I wrote to my local WW Coach to ask about joining WW. That was six months ago, and since then my eyes have been opened to a whole new world. I’ve loved the advice and encouragement my WW Coach and fellow members give me, and I know that with their help, I’ll be able to get to goal and stay there.
