Enjoy our lighter version of this traditional Welsh snack.
Ingredients
  • Half Fat Cheddar Cheese
    50 g, finely grated
  • Medium fat soft cheese
    100 g, with garlic and herbs
  • Worcestershire Sauce
    ¼ teaspoons
  • Wholegrain Mustard
    ¼ teaspoons, level
  • White bread, sliced
    4 slice(s), medium
  • Black pepper
    ¼ teaspoons, freshly ground
  • Tomato
    4 medium, sliced
  • Lettuce
    1 portion(s), to garnish
Instructions
  1. Preheat the grill.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the soft cheese, Cheddar, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Season with a little black pepper.
  3. Lightly toast the bread on both sides. Spread the cheese mixture on top, cover with sliced tomatoes, then grill until piping hot.
  4. Serve at once, garnished with salad leaves.
