These are perfect as tasty finger foods when you have guests. You can vary the toppings according to your choice but do make them look colourful!

Ingredients

WW Sliced Brown Danish Bread

3 slice(s)

Quark, fat free, plain

150 g, 0.5% fat

Spring Onions

1 medium, finely chopped

Curry Powder

1 teaspoons, mild

Parmesan Cheese

15 g, freshly grated

Parsley, fresh

1 sprig(s), fresh

Black pepper

1 teaspoons

Salt

1 teaspoons

Cherry Tomatoes

2 individual, small slices

Olives, in Brine

2 individual, halved, stoned, black

Cucumber

3 slice(s), small

Prawns, Peeled & Cooked

1 portion(s), medium, cooked, 1 per toast

Instructions

  1. Cut the crusts from the bread then cut each slice into 4. Toast under a low grill until pale golden and crisp. Do not allow to burn. Cool.
  2. Beat the quark with the chopped onion, curry powder, cheese and seasoning until smooth. Spoon onto each slice of toast and spread to the edges.
  3. Choose 1 or 2 toppings from the suggestions and garnish each toast with a herb leaf. Serve freshly made or the toasts might soften.NB. Vegetarians should use vegetarian parmesan
