Fig, Plum and Blueberry Fruit Salad

1 medium, small
2 tablespoons, powdered
350 g, (12oz), halved and pitted
4 individual, quartered
100 g, (3 1/2oz)
- Pare a strip of lemon zest from the lemon using a potato peeler. Put this into a saucepan with the squeezed lemon juice, the cinnamon stick and 200ml (7fl oz) water. Add the powdered sweetener. Heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the plums to the saucepan and simmer gently for 5-6 minutes, until tender. Add the blueberries and allow to cool for 10 minutes. Remove the lemon zest.
- Add the figs to the plums, stir them together gently, then serve.Use a cinnamon stick or ginger instead of ground cinnamon, if you prefer.
