Feast on Points®-friendly fare that'll make you feel like you're in Italy. Rome wasn't built in a day, but some of these recipes can be whipped up in as little as 10 minutes!

Antipasto

Antipasto literally translates as ‘before the meal’, an Italian version of a starter that can take many forms: meat, fish or veggie.

Pasta

Ask anyone to think of Italian food, and the first thing that comes to mind is pasta! Spaghetti alla carbonara is the king of pasta in Rome, and one of the most famous pasta recipes worldwide, with many variations. Cacio e pepe is the only Rome pasta dish that you can regularly find made with fresh pasta instead of dried.

Pizza

Historically, Naples is the birthplace of pizza, but Roman-style pizza is arguably as delicious. It's thicker than Neapolitan, cooked in a square shape rather than circular, and served in large slices to takeaway.

Dessert

No Roman meal would be complete without an indulgent dessert. Gelato or panna cotta are the perfect way to round off a meal at a local restaurant, enjoy during museum or shopping break, or enjoy on an evening stroll.
