What is BMI?
Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on the height and weight of an individual. You can calculate your BMI using our online BMI calculator. A BMI between 18.5 and 24.9 is considered healthy.
If your BMI is calculated at over 24.9, you could be at risk of certain diseases linked to being overweight, such as cardiovascular disease, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, respiratory problems and some cancers.
