WW LAUNCHES FIRST WELLNESS EUROPEAN CRUISE WITH MSC CRUISES ON BOARD THE BRAND NEW MSC SEAVIEW

New itinerary combines holistic wellness, delicious healthy food and the best of the Mediterranean on board the leading cruise line’s newest cruise ship

London, 26th November 2018 — Anyone looking for a sophisticated cruise holiday with a healthy serving of wellness is in for a treat. Following on from the success of four U.S. Caribbean cruises on board the elegant MSC Divina and the revolutionary MSC Seaside, WW (the new Weight Watchers) has strengthened its partnership with MSC Cruises — the world’s largest privately-owned cruise line and market leader in Europe, South America, South Africa and the Gulf — to launch its first ever cruise in Europe. Embarking from Barcelona and sailing the Mediterranean in July 2019, guests will have the unique opportunity to experience one of MSC Cruises‘ newest ships, MSC Seaview, while enjoying the WW wellness program on board.

 

Along with a robust itinerary, visiting some the region’s hottest port destinations in Spain, Italy and France, the cruise will feature WW‘s trademark combination of freshly prepared, healthy meals and snacks, holistic wellness workshops and fabulous onboard entertainment – reinforcing that WW’s liveable programme means life doesn’t have to stop if you want to get healthy. The WW Cruise also offers members the opportunity to meet like-minded people from around the world, allowing them to share their experiences and support each other in their journey.

 

The iconic MSC Seaview, debuted in June 2018 and sailing seasonally in the Mediterranean and Brazil, has been beautifully designed for warm weather climates. Like her sister ship, MSC Seaside, MSC Seaview’s revolutionary ‘beach condo‘ architecture and wealth of outdoor space bring guests closer to the sea and help them enjoy the outdoors like never before. On board, guests will enjoy an experience inspired by MSC Cruises‘ European heritage, including sophisticated, detailed design, internationally-inspired dining, broadway-style entertainment each evening, and a variety of wellness-focused features for cruisers to discover.

 

The WW cruise is an extension of MSC Cruises‘ already strong wellness programme, including a longstanding partnership with Technogym to outfit all on board gyms as well as a dedicated wellness package, offering guests the opportunity to begin their wellness journey even before they arrive. MSC Cruises‘ Wellness Package includes an assessment and goal-setting with a personal trainer to develop a plan for success during the vacation. Guests on board can also participate in a variety of fitness classes including yoga, spinning, or personal training sessions — a great way to rack up additional FitPoints® while cruising! For some much-needed rejuvenation, cruisers are encouraged to visit the MSC Aurea Spa, offering a Balinese-style spa experience with a variety of treatments and one of the most dynamic thermal areas at sea, including multiple steam rooms and saunas, a Hammam room, aromatic showers, a salt relax room and even a snow room.

 

The WW Mediterranean Cruise will set sail from 20th to 27th July, 2019, lasting eight days and seven nights.
