Making WW work for you

We all have different lifestyles, schedules, and activities that can sometimes make following a healthy-eating and exercise plan tricky to navigate. Luckily, WW is flexible enough to fit into your life – whatever you’ve got going on. Here’s how…

If you’re busy…
Plan ahead: Whether you’re juggling work and family commitments, or struggling to get through the school run, a busy schedule can make staying on track feel like another chore. Your best weapon? Planning! Make a weekly meal plan – and if you’re really tight on time, plan the same breakfasts, lunches, and snacks for the week – so you’ll have worked out your SmartPoints well in advance. Here's some meal inspiration to get you going.

If you’re inactive…
Start slow: Getting fit doesn’t have to mean training for a marathon. If you’re currently inactive and are struggling to know where to start, try slowly increasing your activity levels a little bit every day. That could mean something as small as choosing the stairs over the lift, taking a stroll to the end of your road or around the block, or even simply stretching in your living room. Wherever you start, gradually increase what you do each day and then set yourself mini challenges as you become more comfortable with exercise. Head over to the Fitness hub for plenty of ideas to get you moving.

If you’re going it alone…
Talk to your WW Coach: When you’re on the plan, you’ll notice there’s a lot of focus on support – and when you don’t have access to that in your personal life, you might feel disheartened. But support is important to your success, and if you’re struggling without it, speak to your WW Coach. He or she is there to spur you on and motivate you when you need it – but they might also be able to introduce you to fellow members who are in the same boat and looking for a friend to help them stay on track.
