Matthias, Workshop + Digital, Lost 12 kg

*People following the WW program can expect to lose up to 1kg per week. Matthias lost weight on a previous WW program and WW Freestyle™

In Matthias' words:

Before WW, I cooked to eat. Now I cook to relax. Cooking appeals to the five senses and I love the aroma so it's no wonder that I'm cooking on WW's new TV ad!

Every two weeks, I take a full evening to prepare my meals for the next two weeks. I grill two kinds of meats, for example; meatballs and chicken plus I cook two kinds of carbohydrates such as baked potatoes and noodles, as well as a variety of vegetables which are the main portion. Then I mix and match different combinations into portions for the freezer. I always have cheap and healthy meals for lunches or dinners ready to go with the SmartPoints® worked out.

All for a stronger body

On WW I lost 13 kg in six months. I feel proud about what I've achieved because I did something great for my body and fitness. A few years ago, a friend asked me if I worried about my health because of my extra kilos. Until that moment, I'd never thought about my weight. I played sports but I didn't lose any weight. That's why I signed up for WW Digital. My goal was to live healthier and lose weight in a sustainable way and thanks to WW, I did just that!

Listen to your instincts

Thanks to WW, I've learned how to manage my time and energy without stressing myself. I've learned to listen to my gut instincts. Sometimes I cancel appointments at night so I can prep my meals at home. I've learned to say no, and it's something that's very important. When a colleague offers me a piece of cake and I'm not hungry, I don't eat it to be polite. I discovered that others do not mind as much as I always thought!

My recipe blog "Mann darf"

I owe much of my motivation to the WW community. I enjoy learning from the experiences of other members. I also contribute to the community and I post a lot of recipes. I created my own blog, "Mann darf" (mann-darf.ch), where I share my WW experiences and healthy recipes. I find it cool to inspire others to live healthier lives. Some of my work colleagues no longer go out to lunch every day, but bring their home-cooked meals into work just like me. I'm a little proud of that!
