Meetings Leader: You’ll help others achieve what you’ve achieved by offering your expert knowledge of the Weight Watchers plan and support
Receptionist: You’ll help members feel motivated to succeed by welcoming each member, conducting weigh-ins, collecting fees, managing product sales and sharing program knowledge and materials

By being a part of our Meeting Room team, you’ll receive excellent training, ongoing support in your own weight maintenance as well as discounts on products and access to free meetings.

(Note: To join our Meeting Room team, Leaders and Receptionists must be a Lifetime Member and within 2 pounds of their goal weight upon hire.)

Job Description

Alicia is one of our Group Leaders. She is dynamic, enthusiastic, and exhibits a positive and motivational attitude by building energy and excitement in those around her.  Her role is to conduct and facilitate meetings based on corporate guidelines and act as an ambassador for Weight Watchers and its vision. She ensures that members are being cared for, feel like part of the group, are well informed, and are always motivated.  Alicia believes in leading by example and always follows through on her commitments both to herself and others.  On the administrative side, Alicia is also in charge of ordering and managing inventories, maintains all member accounts, and prepares weekly meeting material along with other duties.  Alicia is our successful Lifetime member, at goal, and she is the voice in our Meeting Room.

Great!  We need someone like you to join as a Leader for our Weight Watchers meeting room.  The ideal candidate will have strong facilitation skills and be a Lifetime Member within 2 pounds of goal. They should demonstrate strong relationship building skills and a thorough understanding of the WW program and processes. Additionally, they will be expected to drive membership and product sales. Other responsibilities include:

  • Conduct and facilitate meetings base on Weight Watchers Canada, ULC. (WWCL) guidelines
  • Demonstrate the WWCL service vision to ensure member satisfaction and retention by making members feel:

    • Cared for
    • Well informed
    • Part of the group
    • Motivated to succeed
  • Create a welcome, professional, motivating, and engaging meeting environment by utilizing a variety of creative facilitation techniques to meet meeting objectives
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the most current WWCL program, products, and services through learned techniques, weight management, and following the program
  • Listen and probe members’ needs and recommend program solutions and/or Weight Watchers products to meet members’ needs
  • Prepare the weekly meeting topic and material based on WWCL program guidelines
  • Lead and mentor the meeting room team to identify and share strategies to improve member satisfaction and retention
  • Set goals and targets for meeting room team that align with Member Success
  • Conduct weight goal conferences with members
  • Execute on weekly corporate communication and meeting room collateral
  • Prepare Meeting Room Tally deposit and mail within 24 hours
  • Follow rotation schedule as required in order to:

    • Share the duty of completing the Tally
    • ​Adhere to staffing guidelines
  • Able to lift, move and carry a minimum of 25 lbs
  • Able to stand for the duration of the meeting
  • Conduct other duties as assigned

  • Attend mandatory training program and staff meetings in order to develop skills and program knowledge

Job Description

Stephanie is one of our Meeting Room Receptionists.  She finds it easy to relate to others and earns their respect through her high ethical standards.  She has an important role in our meeting room as she is the first point of contact with our members.  She is diligent in answering program questions, processing transactions, and weighing our members in.   Stephanie helps to keep the meeting room running but, most importantly, she is intensely dedicated to providing superior customer service and inspiring member success.   Stephanie is our successful Lifetime member, at goal, and she is the motivation in our Meeting Room.

We need someone just like you to join as a Receptionist for our Weight Watchers meeting room.  The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be a Lifetime Member within 2 pounds of goal. They should demonstrate strong relationship building skills and a thorough understanding of the WW program and processes. The Receptionist will work with the meeting room Leader to help facilitate the overall meeting. Additionally, they will be expected to drive membership and product sales. Other responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrate the Weight Watchers Canada, ULC. (WWCL) service vision to ensure member satisfaction and retention by making members feel:

    • Cared for
    • Well informed
    • Part of the group
    • Motivated to succeed
  • Conduct weigh-ins and distribute member materials
  • Process member payments
  • Provide expertise to members on the basics of the most recent Weight Watchers Program, products, policies and promotions
  • Listen and probe for Members’ needs and recommend Program solutions and/or Weight Watchers products to meet members’ needs
  • Create a welcome and professional meeting environment by opening, setting up and closing meeting locations in a timely manner
  • Provide administrative support including documentation of meeting statistics, payment information, maintaining member files and correspondence
  • Participate in team meetings to identify strategies for improving Member satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and enhance skills through participation in training programs.
  • Follow rotation schedule as required in order to:

    • Share the duty of completing the Tally
    • Adhere to staffing guidelines
  • Able to lift, move and carry a minimum of 25 lbs
