What is Noom?


Noom is a weight loss health app targeted at millennials focused on mindset. It encourages behaviour changes with additional services at extra cost like customised workout and meal plans. Foods are grouped into a traffic light system of green, yellow, and red based on calories to guide food choices and all foods must be tracked. Noom offers in-app coaching during business hours and a group community after the first two weeks.

No foods are off limits. You will still count calories, but foods are grouped into a traffic light system of green, yellow, and red foods to help guide food choices.

Support is digital through a personal coach. After two weeks on the program you are put into a digital support group with other members.
