Hungry Girl Goes… In Search of Secret Sauces!
What's the easiest way to make our favorite foods taste even better? Add an amazing guilt-free sauce! These here are a few of my favorite "secret" finds...
Vivi's Original Sauce, Classic Carnival Mustard
I've been raving about this stuff for years, and I'm not about to stop now! Is it mustard? Is it relish? Who cares! It's awesome. I dip veggies in it, mix it up with canned tuna or salmon, top salad with it, take it shopping, play tennis with it... OK, the last two are false. (Maybe.) Find it in select stores or online at vivisoriginalsauce.com.

Something Special Deli Foods, Gourmet Antipasto
Another one of those "what is it?" concoctions I can't get enough of. When a case of it showed up at the HG offices, we were confused — but then we tasted it, and it was love. A tangy combo of veggies and tuna, this stuff is amazing. I love coming up with new ways to eat it. (It's great on turkey breast sandwiches.) Go to somethingspecialdeli.com to order.

Mustard Girl All American Mustards, Stoneground Deli
This stuff definitely has a homemade look to it — you can see the mustard seeds. It has a slightly sweet, tangy taste that makes it great for hot dogs, wraps, and even dipping veggies in. If you're a mustard freak looking for something new, go to mustardgirl.com to order it or find a retailer near you.

Chris' & Pitt's Premium Bar-B-Q Sauce, Classic Original
This company claims its sauce is the "Best in the West," and that may very well be true. I like it because it has a good balance of sweetness and zesty goodness. Put it on grilled chicken, use it on veggie burgers... Whatever! Look for it in grocery stores, and if you don't see it there, check Amazon.com.

Don Sabrosa Natural Gourmet Salsa, Black Bean & Corn
People, a lot of salsas come through the HG HQ. It takes a really good one for me to remember it by name; it takes a really, really good salsa for us to go through an entire case without batting an eye. Best. Salsa. Ever. Go to donsabrosa.com and order some. P.S. The other varieties are really good, too, but this is my personal favorite.

Leonardo e Roberto's Gourmet Blends, Asian Dipping Oil
Yeah, it's oil. But it's one of the most delicious oils on earth and a little goes a long way, flavor-wise. I recommend this stuff highly but also recommend using it with careful measurement. Even a teaspoon added to a salad or stir-fry will make your food taste way more amazing, so use it sparingly. Find it at gourmetblends.us.
