Here are some little-known, harder-to-find-but-worth-it snacks. (Pssst, these are sugary so I don't recommend you eat them daily.)
Long-Lasting Secret Sweet Treats
- Anisi Low-Fat Chocolate-Filled Wafer Thins
(1 giant wafer: 90 calories, 0.5g fat, 0g fiber, POINTS value - 2)
Face it, size matters when it comes to food. So I flipped over these cookies when I saw how huge they were (they're literally the size of a small steering wheel!).
They're basically a simple wafer cookie with a layer of chocolate honey in the middle. They're not as decadent as Oreos, but they're great with a cup of coffee. Find them at anisihoneywafer.com.
- Barry's 100-Calorie Mini Peaks
(1 container: 100 calories, 0g fat, 0g fiber, POINTS value - 2)
100 meringues for a POINTS value of 2? Sign me up! These are cute, sweet and tasty. Yes, they're tiny, but what did you expect?! Check them out at barrysbakery.com.
- Vertigo Candy and Chocolate-Flavored Pops
(1 pop: 80 calories, 3g fat, 0g fiber, POINTS value - 2)
I love these pops—they're half chocolate and half traditional lollipop. The chocolate and strawberry flavor is the best by far, and it takes a long time to eat. Yay! You can usually find these at Target and Wal-Mart stores.

Make some noise, people!
Crunch Time
- Quaker Mini Delights, Buttered Popcorn Flavor
(1 pouch: 90 calories, 3g fat, 1g fiber, POINTS value - 2)
I'm a little obsessed with these. They're sooooo delicious. They're light and crispy, and to me they taste like they're made with cheese (even though they aren't); so if you're a fan of cheese puffs you'll really enjoy them. Available at most supermarkets.
- Mr. Krispers Baked Rice Krisps, Sour Cream and Onion Flavor
(37 chips: 110 calories, 3.5g fat, 1g fiber, POINTS value - 2)
Who on earth is Mr. Krispers and how did he create such delicious chips? This bag contains four servings, and these chips are so good you may not be able to stop eating them. So break them down into individual serving-size portions before you get into trouble. See mrkrispers.com for more information.
- LesserEvil Krinkle Sticks, Classic Sea Salt Flavor
(1 cup: 110 calories, 2.5g fat, 2g fiber, POINTS value - 2)
Imagine taking a perfect crinkle-cut French fry, adding just the right amount of salt and then baking it until the greasiness disappears and all that's left is a delicious, light, airy version of its former self. That's pretty much what Krinkle Sticks are. And I love them so much it hurts. Visit lesserevil.com for the full 411.

These can double as snacks or mini-meals...Woo hoo!
Snacktastic Mini-Meals
- Yoplait Light Yogurt, Apple Turnover
(1 cup: 100 calories, 0g fat, 0g fiber, POINTS value - 2)
Yoplait Light comes in 18 flavors. The Apple Turnover is my personal favorite. Buy it at your favorite supermarket.
- Amy's Bistro Burger
(1 patty: 90 calories, 2.5g fat, 2g fiber, POINTS value - 2)
These are my new favorite veggie patties. (I change my mind a lot, but these are what's in my freezer this month!) I think a patty on a plate is a fantastic snack for a POINTS value of 2. Find Amy's products at most natural foods stores.
